Union Tank Car Company is seeking applicants to become a Switchman at our full-service rail tank car repair shop in Altoona, Pennsylvania to assist in various departments as needed by plant production. We are looking for a 2nd or 3rd shift Switchman to operate locomotives to move railcars according to a switch list. Rate of pay for the position is $24.75-$25.75 per hour, plus an additional $2.00 per hour for working 2nd shift hours or $1.50 per hour for working 3rd shift hours.
