* Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain REST API.
* Utilize Agile development practices - sprint planning, backlog grooming, code reviews, etc.
* Document technical development tickets, with focus on attention to detail.

* Own and solve problems across technology and business teams.
* Use modern solutions to automate and retire legacy tools/solutions.
* Identify root causes, set next steps, take decisive action, and communicate effectively by jumping into uncharted territory.
* Select frameworks, develop and communicate common solutions, develop/improve standards.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
- A bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in computer science, management information systems, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressively responsible experience in software development or a related occupation.
- 5 years SQL experience.
- 5 years Java experience.
- 5 years Spring Boot experience.
- 5 years REST API development experience.
- 5 years version control system experience.
- 5 years build tool experience.
- 2 years of railroad pricing application and standards knowledge.
- Must pass background check investigation and medical review.
