POSITION SUMMARY

As the face of the Joint, cashiers provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for our customers through our POS system. Accuracy and basic math skills are important, as someone in this position will be handling payments in the form of cash and providing change. Knowledge of restaurant products is essential, as the cashier will be responsible for assisting our customers with questions and suggestions. Cashiers will also be responsible for keeping work area neat and tidy, restocking and preparing items as needed, and cleaning lobby and dining areas.

The employee frequently accesses all areas of the store including walk-in fridge and freezers, stock area, and register area. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
