Essential Job Duties:

• Is accountable for the management of staff and daily operations in Neuroscience departments including but not limited to, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Pain, Neurophysiology, and the Neurohospitalists.
• Provides guidance for staff in meeting the physical and emotional needs of patients and families.
• Responsible for department coordination in consultation with the Director
• Demonstrates knowledge of Union Health’s policies and procedures
• Responsible for personal growth and development
• Self-Development and Self-Management
• Other Duties

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business health care or related field required.
• At least 3 years of healthcare management experience required.
• Work in various settings and situations helpful.
• Experience in the clinical setting required.
• Experience dealing with several projects in addition to overall management necessary.
• Experience in long-range planning
• Experience in dealing with various groups of people (medical staff, administration, patients, staff) as necessary.
• Must be accomplished in written and verbal business communication.
• Maintains strict confidentiality regarding patient and strategic Hospital information.
