Position Overview

The position will support our Part 145 Repair Station in both technical and refrigeration work on RKN and RAP containers to include service and repairs to containers according to the approved OEM maintenance data to enable a certificate of release to service for installation on an aircraft.

General Responsibilities

• Perform Structural and Refrigeration Maintenance on Unit Load Devices (AKA: ULD’s, RAP/RKN, and Containers).
• Troubleshooting and Advanced Investigations on Mechanical Refrigeration Units (AIR100 and AIR200).
• Service and compliance verifications to manufactures specifications.
• Liaise with the Compliance and Training Manager to determine training needs and implement training program in Regional Service Network.
• Liaise with Regional Service Network team to plan training schedule’s including new maintenance capabilities on the Refrigeration Unit in Region.
• Propose continuous improvement of Refrigeration Unit repair standards to Global Refrigeration Service Manager.
• Provide training and support to repair station staff on the Mechanical Refrigeration System.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• College or Technical School Certification in Refrigeration.
• Licensed Refrigeration Technician (or Master Craftsman).
• Technical experience as required by State, County, City.
• 2 years minimum experience in refrigeration systems.
• Electrical, Schematics and Brazing.
• Aviation or regulatory experience a plus.
