About us: Unify Health Services is a women-owned small business with ambitious and passionate healthcare professionals who strive to change the industry with cutting-edge programs. We are seeking to hire a Certified Athletic Trainer to provide onsite coaching services to the industrial athletic population. This is a full-time position with 2 shifts open, Monday-Thursday 5a-3:30p and 7p-5:30a.

Environment: On-site industrial setting utilizing a preventative, instructional, and educational approach to achieving Occupational Health and Wellness to an industrial athletic population. We are seeking an outcome metrics-driven individual who works well with all personalities and is able to teach various learning styles, ages, and education levels. The successful candidate must be confident in teaching body mechanics, work simulation tasks, and educating individuals on services available to them. Steel-toed safety shoes, hard hats, eye and ear protection may be required depending upon site.

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Athletic Trainer in the state of employment
• BLS certification, CPR certification
• People oriented and possesses ability to create trusting relationships with their industrial athletic population, while supporting their need for prevention.
• Able to effectively communicate with all stakeholders involved including but not limited to the industrial athlete, on-site prevention team, client's management team, and the client's HSS team.
• Demonstrated experience in outpatient clinical skills, first responder skills, and musculoskeletal education

Supportive Qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience preferred, with one-year work comp and or industrial healthcare experience
• Knowledgeable of workplace safety and health and OSHA regulations a plus

Physical Demands:

• Frequent: walking, sitting, repetitive arm and leg movement, stooping and forward bending, handling, keyboard/computer work
• Occasional: pinching, sitting, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform brisk walking in field/location to manage emergencies or observe work tasks and perform job coaching

Other Duties:

• Shifts may include early morning, day shifts, night shifts (am/pm combined shifts) or weekends. Shifts are based on customer needs and program needs per location per shift.
• Duties and responsibilities may change dependent on business needs
