Unified Women's Healthcare is Hiring a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Full Time Near Chicago, IL

Overview

Unified Women’s Healthcare is the leading national platform for women’s healthcare. Our affiliated practice, The Association for Women's Healthcare, is seeking an experienced Full Time Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Join this well-established practice that has practice locations in downtown Chicago and Northbrook, IL. This is a busy and robust practice. Candidate duties will include seeing patients in the clinic M-F, and will be required to work at both practice locations. Candidate will also be responsible for working every third week participating in morning rounds at Northwestern Prestine Women's Hospital. This position will provide the right candidate the opportunity to join a practice that is collaborative and compassionate about patient care. Experienced candidates only.

Practice Highlights:

  • Serving the area for over 60 years 
  • Two office locations
  • Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history
  • Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures

  • Provide pre and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling

  • Assist and work closely with physicians to provide patient care

Requirements:

  • National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
  • Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
  • Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
  • CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
  • Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
  • Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
  • Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
