Unified Women's Healthcare is Hiring a Nurse Practitioner Near Edison, NJ

Overview:

Unified Womens Healthcare is the leading national platform for womens healthcare. Our affiliated practice is seeking an outstanding Full Time Nurse Practitioner to join their high-volume practice in Edison, NJ . The practice also includes a satellite office in North Plainfield, with the majority of schedule being at the Edison location.

Position Highlights:

  • Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history
  • Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures

  • Provide pre and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling

  • Assist and work closely with physicians to provide patient care

  • Call Schedule - No call or hospital obligations.
  • Partnership - Partnership Track after 3-4 years of service
  • Work days - Full-time: 5 days per week. Part-time: 3-4 days per week.
  • Patient Load - Approx. 35-40 per day.
  • Fully licensed medical team and support staff consisting of 2 OBGYNs, 1 FT Nurse Practitioner, and 1 PT Nurse Practitioner.

Requirements:

  • National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain

  • Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain

  • Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain

  • CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain

  • Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans

  • Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff

  • Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician

  • 1-3 years of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
