Job Summary:

Unified Door & Hardware Group is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Manufacturing Production & Change Administrator to work at our Port Washington, NY Manufacturing facility. The incumbent will be responsible for being the point person in Manufacturing for receiving all new releases and changes regarding product that has been released for Production. In addition the individual will be responsible for supporting the Manufacturing, Materials and Scheduling team with day to day support.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Be key liaison between production scheduling and Project Management, Detailing and Listing regarding changes to production orders after release. Will receive and log all change requests received for released orders and present to Production staff for disposition and communicate back to requester.

• Receive all production releases from Listing and present to Production Scheduling.

• Work closely with Production Scheduling and Materials Leaders to ensure performance to schedule. Including preparing supporting documentation including printing tags and labels as needed.

• Collect and present Manufacturing Production KPI’s daily.

• Act as extension of Director of Manufacturing for clerical duties regarding production personnel.

• Cross train with Materials/Purchasing associates to cover business critical duties in their planned and unplanned absence.

• Other duties as assigned by Director of Manufacturing to support daily production.

Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. Prior experience in a Manufacturing setting.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying production schedules, addressing concerns, and providing updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Strong computer and analytical skills with the ability to collect, format and present data.
• Customer-centric mindset to understand needs and effectively communicate situations and constraints while developing solutions.
• Exceptional time management and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to protect confidentiality of discussions and documents.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Location:

• This position requires an onsite presence in our Port Washington, NY Manufacturing facility.
