Job Summary:
The Collections Coordinator will perform a variety of duties to ensure the Company’s DSO meets the target prescribed by the Collections Manager. Will work with a variety of internal departments and external customers to ensure accounts receivable balances are kept accurate and current.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Download and create AR reports for collection purposes
• Communicate with customers via email and phone to collect open balances
• Update notes in database for collection purposes
• Reconcile variances
• Complete payment waivers
• Coordinate with the AR Coordinator to obtain waivers from vendors
• Hold weekly AR meetings
• Coordinate with the Administrative Services Department for all closeout documents
• Maintain and update job files as needed
• Work with internal departments to respond to and resolve customer billing questions
• Other projects as assigned

Education/Certifications:

• HS Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• College Degree (Preferred)

Experience: 

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse management or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong computer literacy skills
• 1-3 years of general accounting, accounts receivable and collection experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft office products
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High degree of ownership for projects, a sense of urgency and strong follow-through

Location:

This position requires an onsite presence at our Port Washington, NY office

Salary and Compensation: 
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At Unified Door and Hardware Group (UDHG), we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $22.70-$25/hr
