Job Summary: As the Business Process Owner for Manufacturing Processes, this role plays a crucial part in steering our transformation and ERP implementation. Located in New Jersey, the incumbent will concentrate on aiding ERP implementation at our Pennsauken facility. The ideal candidate will rise as the Subject Matter Expert for our Manufacturing/Assembly business processes, leading their evolution towards ERP-enablement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Map current business processes within the Manufacturing business.
- Identify opportunities for ERP system integration.
- Collaborate with the ERP project team to analyze and optimize processes.
- Engage with end-users to gather system requirements.
- Ensure alignment of ERP system functionalities with user needs.
- Communicate requirements effectively to the ERP project team.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for the ERP system.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and provide feedback to the project team.
- Ensure system functionality meets specified requirements.
- Develop training materials in collaboration with the ERP project team.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users.
- Provide ongoing support to users for system adoption.
- Develop change management strategies for ERP implementation.
- Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders.
- Facilitate a smooth transition to the new ERP system within the Manufacturing business.
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- 7-10 years of experience in Manufacturing Business.
- Minimum 5 years of on-site experience in Manufacturing and/or Distribution.
- Essential experience in utilizing ERP systems within Manufacturing & Warehouse Environments.
- Highly desirable experience in implementing/launching ERP systems.
- Preferred cross-functional experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain, including Purchasing, Materials Management, Scheduling, Shop Floor Supervision, or other relevant Manufacturing functions.
- Preference for experience in Job Shop or Discrete Manufacturing businesses
- Proficiency in System Configuration, Master Data Strategy, and Reporting Requirements specific to the Manufacturing Business.
- Familiarity with key processes and functionalities in Manufacturing Business, including:
- Forecasting
- Scheduling
- Capacity Management
- Receiving
- Warehouse Management
- Inventory Management
- Production Management / Work Order Management
- Shipping
- Bills of Material & Routings
