Role: Warehouse Operative

Hours: Monday - Friday 8.00-17.00

Pay:- $16.42 - $19.77 per hour

We're looking for an individual to join our fast-paced warehouse team. This is a full-time position and will be required to assist in loading trucks, unloading shipments, and packing orders. Ideal candidates will have experience in logistics and will have a strong attention to detail. We are looking for an individual who can work independently and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Locate & Coordinate the load of palleted material into containers and other transport. Ensuring that correct labeling and despatch labels are properly affixed.
• Through the use of banding, power washer, scales and measurement tools, ensure that pallets, drums and/or Bulk Bags are clean and safe for dispatch.
• Unload, arrange and prepare incoming products for inspection from the quality control department.
• Use best judgment to prepare documentation and spot discrepancies with pallet counts, quantities, and weights to prevent unnecessary re-work and errors.
• Follows strict safety procedures and safety checks.
• Wear and enforce correct PPE at all times.
• Performs other duties as requested by management.

Skills & Experience:

• Warehousing Experience
• Experience in reading and understanding Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Forklift Certification
• Mathematical ability to add, subtract, Multiply, and divide in common units of measure.
• Teamwork and patience.
• Attention to detail.
