Building relationships, one interaction at a time: Join us as an Engagement Officer! Our Engagement Officers work to build relationships with our current donors, past donors, and new donors. The position actively seeks out and stewards gifts while providing information that deepens their understanding and connection to the University of North Dakota.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Engagement Officer works as part of a high-performing, donor-centered team responsible for assisting the UND Alumni Association & Foundation in the retention, renewal, and acquisition of donors. Using email, social media, Vidyard, SalesForce, video conferencing and phone/text, the Engagement Officer stewards’ donors, provides information that deepens their understanding and connection to the University, and solicits them for annual gifts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree required in a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered.
Experience: 1-3 years’ experience in direct sales, fundraising, or marketing preferred; Knowledge of the University of North Dakota colleges, programs, athletics preferred.
PHYSICAL & COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS
Ability to operate computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment. Ability to focus and complete work in a timely manner. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to travel independently via car and air. Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, squat, and lift or move objects up to 10 pounds.
