This position performs multi-trade duties such as plumbing, electrical and basic carpentry and has daily contact with Department of Housing and Residential Education and Housing Support staff and has responsibility for doing a great deal of planning to ensure minimal impact on students and staff while performing maintenance work. A balanced work load will include preventive maintenance in common areas and mechanical spaces as well as responding to urgent and emergency service order needs in resident areas. This would include general maintenance on external building lighting, entrances (ceiling tiles, lighting, water fountains and hallways).
