Respiratory Therapy Virtual Interview Event | UNC Medical Center

Friday, April 26, 2024 | 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

We’re hiring Respiratory Therapists I & II for UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC. Full-time and per diem positions are available.

Full-time positions are eligible for a $15,000 commitment incentive and up to $10,000 in relocation assistance.

How do I Participate?

Step 2: Upon qualifications, review, and selection of your event application, our Talent Acquisition team will contact you directly regarding the imaging and radiology opportunities and interview slots for the day of the event.

• To be considered for this virtual interview event day, please submit your application to this requisition. Qualified applicants will be contacted to conduct an initial phone screening and interviews will be scheduled on an invite-only basis. Interviews will be scheduled to take place on April 26th between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The last day to apply for this event will be April 23, 2024.

How do I qualify?

Respiratory Therapist I

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board and registry eligible by the National Board of Respiratory Care (CRT or RRT). Must be registered (CRT or RRT) within 6 months of hire. BLS on hire.
• No prior experience required.

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board. Must be registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care. BLS on hire. Must have either ACLS-Adults, NRP – NICU, PALS – PICU/Rex, CPFT – PFT, Advanced Practice certificate to administer moderate sedation in the Bronchoscopy Lab. Must maintain certification annually.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
