Job Summary:
The Employee Health Nurse functions as a health team member supporting the objectives of Employee Health Services, focusing on prevention, early detection of illness, management of health risks, and chronic conditions. Completes pre-employment and annual assessments, assists with Worker’s Compensation patients, screens employees for illnesses, communicable diseases and injuries, supports the Hospital’s Employee Health wellness programs, and provides other nursing services. Works under the supervision of a nurse practitioner and/or physician.
Minimum Qualifications BSN preferred.
Current North Carolina RN licensure required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
