Assessors play a crucial role in evaluating the quality of child care centers and family child care homes for the North Carolina Star Rated License.
Through the collection of assessment data, leadership in various activities, and a commitment to innovation and excellence, Assessors significantly impact the early childhood education systems and practices in North Carolina and beyond.
Key responsibilities include completing assessments (70%), working on additional leadership assignments (20%), calendar management (5%), and other duties (5%). Minimum Qualifications
BACHELOR’S DEGREE; OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE. ALL DEGREES MUST BE RECEIVED FROM APPROPRIATELY ACCREDITED INSTITUTIONS.
- At least 5 year’s experience in related early childhood education field
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Bilingual candidates preferred (Spanish and English)
