About Unbound Recovery, LLC
Unbound Recovery, LLC was founded in 2021 in Manhattan, KS to meet the rising need for evidenced-based treatment for individuals with disordered eating behaviors throughout Kansas. It is a privately-held outpatient treatment center focused on the treatment of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and compulsive overeating. Unbound Recovery is currently expanding services to the Topeka, KS area.
We understand that seeking help can be scary and difficult. Unbound Recovery, LLC works closely with patients, their families, and health care professionals to create individualized and wrap around treatment plans for adolescents (10-17) and adults (18 ). Our staff of licensed mental health professionals and registered dietitians is dedicated to meeting each patient exactly where they’re at and walking with them toward healing and lasting recovery.
About the Position:
Part-time and full-time options available. You will be provided with time for team collaboration and case review, supervision, client preparation, documentation, and treatment planning.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge and practice of effective counseling skills and demonstrates an ability to build therapeutic rapport with patients and their families.
Complete comprehensive and ongoing biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessment resulting in appropriate evidenced-based treatment and discharge recommendations.
Make referrals to or communicate with other care providers/resources as indicated.
Work with patients to develop individualized treatment plans with appropriate outpatient goals and objectives.
Facilitate group sessions with clinical expertise and general attention to group dynamics, social support, group cohesion and trust, multicultural awareness, therapeutic alliance, and time and boundary management.
Maintain, develop, and modify group curriculum for psychoeducation groups.
Remain abreast of the most current evidence-based treatments for eating disorders.
Implement appropriate and creative therapeutic interventions and homework assignments.
Is diligent to maintaining all licensing and CEU requirements; remains in good standing with the licensing board.
Communicate regularly with the director and administrative staff regarding patient schedules and information necessary to billing.
Complete accurate and thorough documentation in a timely manner (outpatient progress notes, group notes, billing claim forms, etc.).
