Job Description
Primary role and responsibilities:
Manage and monitor the clinical engagement and treatment experiences for CASGSL clients
Program Management:
Implement policies and plans to monitor clinician fidelity to treatment models
Maintain relationships with treatment model developers and National Child Traumatic Stress Network partners
Coordinate with University attorney to address legal issues (e.g., responding to subpoenas) and obtain approval for legal forms and contracts
Oversee agency’s response to clinical records requests
Manage grants and contracts in collaboration with the Director of Grants and Finance by establishing and implementing short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, budgets, communication plans and operating procedures
Write grant proposals and oversee all grant requirements (e.g., outcome and stewardship reports, invoicing) to ensure compliance in collaboration with the Director of Grants and Finance
Monitor and evaluate operational effectiveness and effect changes required for operational and process improvement
Maintain current data and report on key performance metrics to Executive Leadership Team
Serve as a principal point of collaboration, leadership, and expertise to both internal and external constituencies on clinical and operational matters pertaining to the mission, goals, objectives and work scope of the unit’s program(s)/project(s)
Complete administrative tasks in accordance with UMSL policy (EVR, expense reports, performance appraisal)
Maintain a caseload of individual/family/group therapy clients using trauma-informed, evidence-based practices
Complete comprehensive trauma-informed diagnostic assessments for children, adolescents, and families in a competent and timely manner
Complete charting and other documentation responsibilities in a timely fashion
Provide case management services (e.g., locating and facilitating appropriate referrals, participating in team meetings, and communicating with other service providers) for clients as indicated within the scope of trauma treatment
Conduct educational presentations in the community and schools on trauma-related topics and interventions
Meet all CASGSL established quality assurance, documentation, grant reporting, billing, and productivity standards
Address client concerns or complaints regarding clinical services
Staff Management:
Recruit, employ, train, manage, and evaluate clinical staff and students
Provide general direction, organization, monitoring, and supervision for CASGSL clinical staff
Develop clinical policies and procedures as necessary and monitor staff compliance
Design, implement, and evaluate organizational and staffing plans to effectively accomplish the goals and objectives of the unit in collaboration with leadership and subordinate program/project directors
Set billable hour expectations and monitors clinician productivity
Maintain current data and report on key performance metrics to Executive Leadership Team
Address staff concerns/needs as appropriate
Train staff, students, and community members in evidence-based treatments for child trauma and other trauma-related topics
Administrative supervision exercised over assigned clinical staff and graduate level clinical trainees
Provide clinical consultation for clinical staff and students
Clinical supervision may be exercised over assigned clinical staff and students, as eligible

Shift
M-F, 40 hours per week
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling from an accredited program
Must be licensed (e.g., LCSW, LPC, Licensed Psychologist) within the state of Missouri
Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in project management, non-profit management, and grant management in a mental health or service-related field Grant writing and reporting experience
Previous experience in working with issues, features, and treatments related to the field of Child Maltreatment and with implementing evidence-based practices is preferred (e.g., Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools, Integrative Treatment for Complex Trauma, Treatment for Children with Problematic Sexual Behavior, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy)
Five (5) years of experience in project management, non-profit management, grant management in a mental health or service-related field
Anticipated Hiring Range
Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Hiring Range: $69,000 annually
Grade: GGS-011
