The University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES), Chesapeake Biological Laboratory (CBL), is seeking a post-doctoral researcher (assistant research scientist) to develop new quantification methods for anthropogenic contaminants using UPLC-qqq MS and QTOF MS techniques. LC-MS based method developments will be conducted in the laboratory in collaboration with our national and international partners in academia, industry, agencies, and other stakeholders. The candidate will develop new methods and assist with data analysis and preparing and submitting peer-reviewed publications. The position is available now and is funded for a minimum of 2 years, and is located at the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, in Solomons, Maryland. The research team is led by Dr. Andrew Heyes, Dr. Michael Gonsior and Dr. Carys Mitchelmore.
