As an entry-level VDC Designer, you will work closely with the VDC project leads to assist with Drawings and Deliverables.

BIM/VDC Drafter Pay Range

Pay range $17.50-$20.00 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Interest in VDC/BIM.

• Basic to moderate computer literacy

• Creative problem solver.

• Strong work ethic.

• Ability to learn new skills and apply them in new situations.

• Field experience preferred but not mandatory.

• Follow UMC Revit/AutoCAD documentation.

• Pursuing a construction-specific degree is preferred.

• Experience in Autodesk preferred.

• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities

• Works directly with and takes direction from VDC project leads.

• Basic Modeling under supervision.

• Read/Interpret construction plans and documentation.

• Develop installation and spool drawings from 3D models.

• QA/QC drawings and models based on company/industry standards and best practices.

• Effective communication with field and project management team.

• Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple tasks or projects with changing priorities.

• Helps and assists with Point Layouts.

• Draft detailed multi-view drawings of assemblies and subassemblies, Revise and redraw, as required for drawing deliverables.

• Follows VDC standards in spooling and deliverables.
