Umbrella Wellness Center is Hiring a Counselor Near Westminster, MD
```Duties:```
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with Substance Abuse clients, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as motivational interviewing and applied behavior analysis. This position could include a partnership opportunity.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Conduct clinical research and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of counseling.
- Provide counseling services to a diverse population, primarily adults with SUD in IOP and PHP programs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and case notes.
- Provide case management services, including coordinating referrals and advocating for clients' needs.
```Qualifications:```
- preferred Master's degree in Counseling or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years Substance Use Disorder treatment
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Counselor.
- Experience working with various populations.
- Knowledge of addiction counseling principles and techniques.
- Strong research skills to stay current with evidence-based practices in counseling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
