Umbrella Functional Consulting & Support Team is Hiring a Behavior Support Specialist (Master-Level) Near Buck, PA

This position you are applying for is for In-Home and Community Based Services for adults with Autism and Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities who live independently, or semi-independently. Umbrella FCST is seeking an applicant to fill a caseload of up to 6 people presently who have open cases for BS services. Potential locations are in Delaware and Chester Counties. The total number of cases will be shared with a clinical team member in our team environment of supporting each other. Eligible applicants are able to work more if desired in direct care positions, or other BSS services Locations across counties.

Umbrella Team uses Applied Behavior Analysis as a science to create programs which are implemented in the natural environment.

The duties of the job include but are not limited to:
-travel to the participant's home for direct supervision and implementation of the programs. -Creating programs that have meaning and value to the participant being served, in collaboration with the team. -Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and creating and implementing Behavior Support Programs - Monitoring, analyzing, and presenting data based on desired outcomes. -revising behavior plans based on data and feedback from the team. -Utilizing consult time to collaborate with the team, analyze data, create programs, and support the families and participants. -Following the guidelines for 6100 regulations for Behavior Specialists in Home and Community Hab program under Office of Developmental Programs Waivers and Bureau of Autism Services Adult Autism Waiver.

Complete required training upon hire:

  • - Community Support for Direct Support Professionals
  • -BSS 101 & 102
  • - Spectrum 2.0 training through myodp.org AAW trainings
  • - Mandated Reporter Training
  • - Functional Behavior Assessment Training through Umbrella FCST
  • - Incident Management Training including reporting abuse and neglect
  • -PRE Periodic Risk Assessment

All team members of Umbrella FCST receive 30 day provisional period to receive on-the-job training with another team member to get acclimated to delivering services, as well as for support in your new position. Each team member is given the opportunity for advancement.

Interested applicants are required to have a love for the field of Human Services and heart for what they do.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
