Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate cash handling at all times. Responsibilities: - Operate cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently - Greet customers and provide assistance as needed - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision - Scan and bag items for customers - Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints - Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations - Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, and exchanges Experience: - Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required - Basic math skills to handle cash transactions accurately - Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus, such as Aloha POS - Knowledge of culinary or kitchen operations is beneficial - Strong customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience - Ability to handle cash responsibly and maintain accuracy in cash handling - Proficient in food preparation techniques is desirable - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for growth within our organization.
