I. Major Responsibilities:
1. Restock supplies, drink items and paper goods between service
2. Uses machines, tools, equipment and work aides to complete job duties
3. Help receive deliveries as needed
4. Keeps a clean workstation
5. Operated various kitchen appliances
6. Communicate clearly in writing and electronically
7. Performs other related job duties.
Specialty Responsibilities:
Cafeteria:
1. Set up breakfast items (cereal, milk, items to make toast, fruit, hot oatmeal), make coffee and serve hot breakfast on occasion
2. Cleaning throughout the day including operating dishwasher, taking out trash, changing laundry bags, clean tables between service groups, empty and clean food holding warmers/refrigerators and sweep and mop including under equipment
3. Assist with prep items, assembling salads and/or sandwiches
4. Portion and prep desserts, soups, sides and the days entree
5. Transport service cart to other programs
6. Assist in the Cafe as needed
Cafe:
1. Assembles breakfast and lunch items
2. Assembles items for soups, sauces, muffins, salads coffee before Cafe opens
3. Assembles items while managing orders coming in throughout the day
4. Interacts with guests throughout the day reflecting the highest level of customer service
5. Makes adjustments to food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet orders
6. Follow portion instructions
7. Assist the CHL cafeteria as needed

Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
