The Project W.O.R.T.H (Working on reclaiming their health) Community Clinic provides respectful, sensitive, and compassionate care to persons who have experienced sexual trauma, commercial sexual exploitation, and sex trafficking. Our services strive to address the physical and mental well-being of each patient who seeks care providing Trauma informed care. Services include access to behavioral health care, general medical care, medication treatment for substance use disorders, access to contraception, and options for case management services.***This position is Bonus Eligible***

Responsibilities:

  • Completes client-centered assessment and diagnosis including mental status evaluation and DSM diagnosis.

  • Provides individual and group therapy.

  • Assess safety, utilize crisis intervention techniques and complete a safety plan with survivors.

  • Works as part of an integrated team of staff members, community agencies and homeless service providers in order to advocate, educate, and provide timely substance abuse and behavioral health treatment for homeless individuals who have experienced sexual trauma.

  • Utilizes an electronic medical record system to track and complete required client-centered documentation for individuals receiving behavioral health services.

  • Demonstrates proficiencies in best practice treatment models of care while providing behavioral health treatment in a culturally competent and trauma informed manner.

  • Makes referrals and advocates for client's movement through the continuum of treatment and community resources.

  • Provides outreach to sexual trauma survivors at identified sites and in the community.

  • Identify gaps in services and provide data for the purpose of client advocacy.

  • Assist program director and managers with tracking of ongoing programmatic data management.

  • Participate in collaborative case conferences regarding service planning for program participants.

  • Regularly attend staff meetings, clinical team meetings, program team meetings, clinical and administrative supervision and all other required program meetings.

  • Prepare and maintain confidential client documentation, service records, and preparation of statistical reports.

  • Attends and participates in relevant trainings. Provides training to survivors, staff and community.

  • Stay current with position license.

  • Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.

Qualifications:

  • Grade C12- Clinician III: Master's degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Requires licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or is actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

  • Grade C16- Clinician IV: Master's degree in a clinical course of study (social work, psychology, counseling or related field) and LICSW licensure or licensed Psychologist.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with CHL staff members, community agencies and service providers.

  • Ability to form relationships with difficult to engage individuals.

  • Competency in documenting interventions in a professional and timely manner.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in therapeutic interventions reflecting current treatment models and best practices.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practice treatment models for victims of sexual trauma, exploitation, trafficking.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of homeless population and relevant community resources.

  • Ability to coordinate all appropriate client services.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with consumers, peers and other professionals.

  • Knowledge of sexual trauma, homelessness, substance abuse treatment, trauma-informed care, and culturally competent treatment.

  • Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Must have a current valid US-issued driver's license and a registered and insured automobile for work related purposes including travel between work sites.

  • Must be able to pass a CORI background check.
