DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will work within the Umarex USA and Walther Arms Product Safety program that includes the following:

• Gather and organize documents related to compliance, such as BOM, SDS documents, and testing documents on the products we sell.
• Work with retailers and online platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, and other retailers to answer requests for compliance documents.
• Implement strategies and draft communications to our supplier community to obtain related compliance documents.
• Work cross functionally in our business partners systems to upload relevant documents (Monday.com; Amplifi)
• Create SOPs/Standard documents on compliance / legal requirements for products that include, but are not limited to: Battery Compliance, Chemical requirements, DOT shipping requirements, ASTM/ voluntary standards, etc.
• Other duties and projects as assigned within the Safety & Compliance Department

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong communication and leadership skills;
• Focused on execution and results;
• Organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Work cross-functionally to improve processes; and
• Bonus, if you have legal research skills and the ability to interpret legal requirements and determine business impact.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Nice to have: Associate or Bachelor's degree
• Experience with MS Office Suite applications
