Exciting Opportunity with Client IT Team in Idaho Juvenile Offender System - IJOS2.0 Modernization Project Onsite RequirementsClient is looking for an Application Developer to support the modernization of the Idaho Juvenile Offender System - IJOS2.0. As part of the project, the selected candidate will collaborate closely with the state IT Team to achieve critical project milestones. Here are some important details to consider before applying for this role:
Onsite work is mandatory, initially for a specified period. A hybrid schedule will be established later, with regular onsite work as mutually agreed upon.
Contract Details
The position is a short-term contract lasting for 3 months, with a possibility of extension. Candidates must be comfortable with the potential 3-month duration.
Expected workload is 32 hours per week, ideally worked in 8-hour days from Monday to Thursday.

Qualifications
6 to 8 years of professional experience in Information Technology applications development and support.
Job DescriptionThe Application Developer will play a crucial role in the final phase of modernizing the Idaho Juvenile Offender System - IJOS2.0. The developer will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for meeting project deliverables and individual goals. Key responsibilities include:
IJOS 2.0 Enterprise Web Application
Feature development and enhancement
Bug fixes in collaboration with team members
SQL queries and data manipulation
Co-development with junior developer, including DevOps best practice training
COPS/CBAS Website
Deploying website code from a third-party contractor
Managing website code versions
Setting up test website environment for third-party contractor
IDHW (ESPI/WITS) Interface
Updating and rewriting legacy code to align with new database structures
Creating new table structures, API services, and authorization updates
Modifying data interactions with IDHW
IDJC to SCO API - Insight
