Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and manage the credentialing process for healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider information in the credentialing database
- Review and verify provider credentials, licenses, certifications, and other relevant documentation
- Communicate with providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any credentialing issues or discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of reports and audits related to credentialing activities
- Stay informed about changes in credentialing requirements and communicate updates to relevant parties

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of credentialing standards and processes
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare industry practices
- Proficient in using medical office software and credentialing databases
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in verifying credentials
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills to interact with providers and other stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team environment
- Knowledge of managed care organizations and their credentialing requirements is a plus
