Key Responsibilities:
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
3-5 Years Experience as a material/service Buyer or similar role in closely related field
Strong knowledge of ERP principles and demand planning, APIC’s exposure is beneficial
Cross-departmental work experience in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent negotiation and cost management skills
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication competences, ability to build effective relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically creating Excel spreadsheets
Coachable and willingness to learn
Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and willingness to take on new challenges as they arise
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Sitting: The role involves periods of sitting while working on a computer and attending meetings. Ergonomic office furniture is provided to ensure comfort.
Screen Time: Extensive use of computer screens is common in this role. Adequate breaks and ergonomic setups are encouraged to minimize eye strain and fatigue.
Mobility: This role involves periods of standing, bending and limited lifting while working and/or interacting on the manufacturing floor.
Communication: Clear communication, both written and verbal, is crucial.Strong interpersonal skills are required to collaborate effectively with cross-departmental teams.
