Product Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager

Job Description
The Compliance Manager will be responsible for packaging, internal compliances, government compliances, customs and tariff related requirements, quality control and looking for areas to improve packaging and repacking for dropship products. This is an entry level position, and you will learn on the job. This job is a combination of office work and working with products in our showroom.
Job Responsibilities
· Work with our factories to ensure all Federal and State chemical compliance and labelling requirements (e.g. Prop 65, STURDY Act, Home Furnishings Act) are met.
· Work with our factories to handle any of our customer specific labelling requirements.
· Coordinate with overseas and domestic testing labs.
· Customs and tariff related requirements.
· Improve packaging and repackaging for dropship products.
· Maintain quality control on products and packaging.
· Assist during new product selection for packaging, internal compliances, government compliances, customs related requirements, quality control and looking for areas to improve packaging and repackaging for dropship products.
Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting, business, economics, finances, legal studies, management, manufacturing or supply chain.
· No experience required but must be eager to learn.
· Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
· Great organizational skills, detail oriented, self-motivated, highly analytical, data driven and good communicator.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
· Must be in Greater Los Angeles area. Required to work in the office 5 days a week.
