UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center is Hiring a Behavioral Health Clinical Coord Near Glen Burnie, MD

What You Will Do:


General Summary

Under limited supervision, the Behavioral Health Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and supervision of behavioral health services provided by psychiatric, professional counselors and/or psychologists in the service lines of Psychiatry- Emergency Department for up to 40% of scheduled hours. He/ she will provide direct service to patients for up to 60% of scheduled hours. The Behavioral Health Clinical Coordinator collaborates with the Director of Behavioral Health Services to establish guidelines to promote the growth and development of the assigned Department of Psychiatry service lines. The Behavioral Health Clinical Coordinator will function as a multidisciplinary team member both clinically and administratively within the department and with other health care providers within the hospital and in the community. They will have direct oversight of Mental Health Associates, Discharge Coordinators, as well as Peer Recovery Coaches. Patients served including all age groups (Child through Adult-Geriatric).

What You Need to Be Successful:


Qualifications

Master’s Degree from accredited school of social work or related field required. Current licensure in the State of Maryland as either LCSW-C or LCPC required. Must be a registered Board approved supervisor in the State of Maryland, or obtain this certification within one year of hire, or transfer into the position. Knowledge and use of Microsoft Windows, Excel and Power Point. Minimum of 3 years behavioral health experience required, and supervisory experience highly preferred.
