We are looking for an experienced, positive, motivated, dental assistant to join our team. Our office is a general private practice including implants and Invisalign.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist with exams and charting
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Schedule appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Ordering supplies
• Assist team when needed

Skills

• Efficient with Dentrix G7
• X-ray certified, Dexis digital x-rays
• CPR certified
• Experience with Invisalign
• Proven experience as dental assistant
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing
• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable

Hours of Operation:

• Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm, (DA hours: 9:30- 6:00pm)
• One Saturday a month

Please note we have a loveable office dog in our office most days!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
