The HR Administrator/Office Assistant will assist in various day-to-day administrative responsibilities supporting the front desk as well as the Human Resources team including coordinating meetings, ordering, and restocking office supplies, and taking administrative lead on company committees.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManages the reception area to ensure effective telephone communications internally and externally to maintain a professional image.Arranges and coordinates department meetings, roundtables, coffee chats and other company wide meetings.Organize and stock conference rooms for onsite meetings.Order catered meals for onsite meetings and individuals as requested.Overseeing administrative tasks within HR platforms such as Appreciation Station and R factor.Assisting in Exit Interview and Stay Interview trend reports.Taking administrative lead on Diversity and Connect Committee newsletter and events.Managing and mailing out new hire welcome packets.Order and restock office supplies.Knowledge and SkillsAbility to multi-tasks while maintaining careful attention to detailAbility to work effectively both individually and within a team environmentProficient skills with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookEffective written, listening and verbal communication skillsEffective organizational skillsQualifications2-3 years of administrative experienceExposure to Human ResourcesEquivalent education and experience will be considered.Physical and Other RequirementsAt times, as business needs arise, and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal workday or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their position.The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and standThe employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10lbsSpecific vision abilities are required within this positionReasonable accommodations may be made to enable employees to perform the essential functions.
