Ultimus Fund Solutions is Hiring a Lead Pricing Control Specialist Near Cincinnati, OH

SUMMARYThe Lead Pricing Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that corporate actions, security master files, and security pricing are reviewed and processed accurately for Ultimus Fund Solutions. This position is a member of the Pricing Control Team which serves as a specialized team within the fund accounting department. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESCORPORATE ACTIONSReviews and processes corporate actions for the funds.Maintains logs for corporate actions and corporate action related tasks.Updates benchmark, coupon, and factor rates for bonds.Updates dividend rates for daily distributing and daily estimated mutual funds.SECURITY MASTER FILESSets up security master files (SMFs) in accounting system; primarily equity and options.Makes and reviews adjustments to SMFs, as needed.Assists with maintaining SMF templates.SECURITY PRICINGProvides documented support daily for prices that change by thresholds determined in the fund accounting procedures.Challenges prices with vendors, as needed, and maintains the price challenge log.Communicates with FIS and Ultimus development team to fix issues with daily price files loading into the accounting system.Prepares and logs communication of stale price review process with clients and administrators..Prepares and reviews fair value mutual fund prices for fund of funds.Maintains fair value and manually priced securities log.Works with vendors when new issues need to be set up.WORKING RELATIONSHIPSMentors staff through instruction, coaching, providing real-time on-the-job experiences, modeling effective practices and advising on methods used.Provides guidance and support to clients, as needed.Communicates with management and the funds’ custodians, as needed.Works with all fund accounting teams, in all offices, as well as the private fund group and 529 team.May perform other duties as required and assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA’s) KNOWLEDGEFinancial services industry.Microsoft Office Suite.Adobe Acrobat.SKILLS AND ABILITIESExercises good judgement.Client service skills with an aptitude to understand the clients’ business needs and maintain strong client relationships.Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism in the performance of duties.Aligns associates with company values and goals.Plans and delegates the work of others.Motivates and inspires others.Assesses performance of self and associates to make improvements or take corrective action.Plans and develops systems and procedures to improve operating quality and efficiency of department in accordance with company policies and procedures.Communicates ideas and contributes to the development of the department.Troubleshoots issues utilizing creative and critical thinking skills.Multitasking, analytical, and organizational skills.Initiative-taking, strategic, and meticulous approaches with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.Demonstrates personal integrity, responsibility, and accountability.Effectively uses resources such as time and information in conjunction with associates.Participates in solving problems and making decisions.Presents and expresses ideas and information, written and oral, clearly, and concisely.Actively listens to others to achieve understanding and supports an open exchange of ideas and information.Identifies needs, arranges for, and obtains resources to accomplish individual and department goals.Establishes and develops effective working relationships with associates and clientele during both favorable and unfavorable situations.Modifies team and individual priorities and deadlines in response to added information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles and ensures completion. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.2-4 years of experience in fund accounting and pricing control.Experience with Corporate Actions and SMF set ups.Equivalent education, experience, and KSA’s will be considered.
