Temporary / Temporary to Permanent Certified Medical Assistant Needed for Medical Practices in Towson, MD area.

Responsibilities :

• Assist healthcare professionals in patient care activities, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and administering medications as directed.
• Perform routine administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing inventory of medical supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
• Provide support to patients by answering questions, addressing concerns, and explaining procedures.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain patient confidentiality.

Requirements :

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.
• Prior experience working in a clinical setting preferred.
• Proficiency in basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and conducting simple lab tests.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients of diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.
