Job Description

Ultimate Home Healthcare is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team and provide care for our Assignments.

Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure clients receive the best possible care in accordance with the agency’s policies and standards of practice.

• Provide direct care to clients in their homes according to the care plan developed.
• Report any changes in client conditions to the Director of Nursing and Clinical Services.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Be able to work independently.
• Be flexible, patient, and able to deal with change.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing and Clinical Services.

Skills and Abilities
Proven experience as a caregiver or related role.

• Excellent knowledge of emergency care (breathing, blood pressure, temperature)
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations (including CPR) and health care best practices (including personal hygiene standards)
• Computer literacy (Flexible with EMR software)
• Excellent communication (written, oral) skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Strong determination to help clients even when it may be difficult.

* Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting as needed

* Transferring residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans

* Serving meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments

* Providing residents with emotional and social support, as well as encouraging independence and activity participation.

*Someone who is compassionate, reliable, knowledgeable, and most importantly, trustworthy.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.60 - $11.00 per hour

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
