```Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. As an Associate Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. Duties: - Perform dental examinations and diagnose oral conditions - Develop treatment plans and discuss them with patients - Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals - Take and interpret dental x-rays - Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings and fluoride treatments - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques - Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) system - Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality - Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care Requirements: - Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school - Valid state dental license in good standing - Proficiency in medical documentation and electronic medical records (EMR) systems - Experience with dental imaging software and equipment - Strong knowledge of dental procedures, techniques, and materials - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices - Experience with Dentrix software is a plus If you are a dedicated dentist looking to make a positive impact on the oral health of your patients, we encourage you to apply for this position.
