```Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. As an Associate Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about oral health and patient care. Duties: - Perform dental examinations and diagnose oral conditions - Develop treatment plans and discuss them with patients - Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals - Take and interpret dental x-rays - Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings and fluoride treatments - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques - Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) system - Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality - Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care Requirements: - Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school - Valid state dental license in good standing - Proficiency in medical documentation and electronic medical records (EMR) systems - Experience with dental imaging software and equipment - Strong knowledge of dental procedures, techniques, and materials - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices - Experience with Dentrix software is a plus If you are a dedicated dentist looking to make a positive impact on the oral health of your patients, we encourage you to apply for this position.
