Ultimate Charities is Hiring an Entry Level Community Outreach Coordinator Near Alexandria, VA

As an Entry Level Community Outreach Coordinator, you will play a key role in connecting our organization with the community and promoting awareness of our programs and initiatives. You'll work closely with our team to develop and implement outreach strategies to engage community members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, businesses, and other stakeholders to promote awareness of our programs and services.
  • Plan and coordinate outreach events, workshops, and presentations to educate and engage community members.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing materials, social media content, and other resources to support outreach efforts.
  • Conduct research to identify community needs, trends, and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Represent our organization at community events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
  • Assist with volunteer recruitment, training, and coordination for community events and programs.
  • Track and analyze outreach efforts, including attendance, feedback, and outcomes, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in community outreach and engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in community development, social work, public relations, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Passion for community engagement and making a positive impact.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Previous experience in community outreach, volunteer coordination, or event planning is a plus but not required.
