The Creative Operations Specialist for Digital Creative is responsible for coordinating and supporting the operational needs of the Digital creative team in Design and Editorial build comprehensive marketing programs across a variety of media channels. This individual will help to facilitate the briefings, comprehensive project planning and the communications needed to ensure on-time and efficient creation of marketing campaigns that help drive traffic and brand awareness for Ulta Beauty.

This role will specialize in ensuring various stages of projects are met in a timely and efficient manner, assist team in prioritization and have a clear understanding of project deliverables.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Creative teams in delivering exceptional marketing campaigns and design projects in all digital channels including our website, app, and email channels. 
  • Work closely with teams to coordinate briefings for Creative projects and gather all necessary information and details.
  • Plan the workflow for teams, including detailed project timelines, scope, available resources and relevant communication milestones.
  • Coordinate communications between in-house Creative teams and creative agencies to help facilitate a frictionless process for all.
  • Orchestrate day-to-day activities on assigned projects and be proficient in the preparation of project timelines, internal status reports, daily hot sheets, end of day lists and various other project management and tracking reports.
  • Organize, schedule and lead internal status meetings with project team members.
  • Collaborate with the creative, production and design teams develop optimized systems for project management.
  • Work closely with the operations teams to connect teams and projects so that we have a complete and holistic view of the work.

  • Undergraduate degree in relevant field (Marketing, Project Management, Design, Business Management).
  • 2-4 years of experience in project management, trafficking or creative services, preferably in a digital or omnichannel creative department
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-starter capable of meeting tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant project tracking and planning software.
