UKG is looking for the right individual to fulfill our (SAM) Sr Software Asset Manager Role. You will be working with a team that is responsible for all aspects of the SAM Program.

You will work to maintain established processes that assist us in the management of Software for provisioning and deprovisioning of licensing. Work on policies for the oversight of all software publishers used at UKG. This includes the end-to-end asset lifecycle from planning, acquiring, deployment, management, and retirement of software assets. This position is to be also responsible for the audit lifecycle and helps to maintain proper protocols in place. This position reports to the Director of SAM at UKG
Role Duties and Responsibilities
Support the implementation, administration, and enforcement of all IT software asset management and related technology policies, controls, standards, procedures, and processes related to SAM.
Develop strong strategic and tactical relationships within all the Depts that SAM works with daily.
Develop Key Performance Indicators for program success and report up to management, specifically focused on cost savings and strategic / landscape improvements.
Follow Reharvest Protocols and application usage to identify, reallocate and remove unused software.
Identify savings opportunities for underutilized technologies.
Work with the team to create Monthly and Quarterly LCR (License Compliance Reports) for various publishers that can assist license owners with renewals, audits, or any other compliance issues.
Ensure audit compliance within the LCR Report for assigned Publishers.
Guide IT Asset SAM team members in the daily administration of all software management related activities.
Collaborate with Procurement and Business Stakeholders on enterprise license true-ups, reconciliation in support of contract renewals by providing them an overview of what they currently have, what they use and what they should true-up or renew
Represent SAM within Change Management
Engage with Projects to provide License Management and SAM related deliverables.
Determine best practices for automation, versus manual intervention.
Continuously improve and innovate Software Asset Management processes and standard methodologies based on industry best practices.
Qualifications
Possess strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving skills, including the ability to accumulate, organize, and assimilate large amounts of information.
Excellent Customer Service Skills when dealing with the company's team members at all levels of the organization. Will also work with the company's suppliers/vendors and will be required to negotiate without damaging relationships but rather work in a spirit of partnership by utilizing the skills of persuasion and influence.
Strong written & verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical teams.
Should also have excellent active listening skills.
Written communication is important since you will need to be able to create professional documents for SAM and internal Teams.
Should demonstrate the desire to continually be learning and evolving.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Must be a results-driven self-starter, who is able to act proactively in a dynamic environment.
Familiar with SAM tools like USU and Flexera, able to navigate and create reports , perform inventories and analytical task like license compliance and reconciliation.
