Position Summary
This role will support the Director through participating in the hospital and the UI Health campus master plans to support the strategic growth of the enterprise. These efforts will focus on determining the highest and best use of our current facilities, planning for future expansion, maximizing revenue generating space within and adjacent to the hospital and streamlining throughput for all of our patients. The participant will also support the space management process which reviews requests from departments for changes within their space or for additional space to support their team.

The participant will become familiar with inpatient, outpatient, administrative and support function spaces. Observation of ongoing construction projects and how they dovetail into the overall future of the campus will also occur. Duties & Responsibilities

Attend departmental and project related meetings

Survey existing clinical and non-clinical locations

Support the space management process

Collect data for the bi-annual space survey process

Participate in the master planning process for the health enterprise

Extensive walking may be occasionally required within and between buildings on the west campus

Field surveys of offsite clinics may be necessary on occasion

Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
