Position Summary

This individual will contribute to the education of students; engage in service opportunities to promote achievement of department and campus goals effectively and positively; and actively engage in the advancement of medical education research and/or scholarly activities.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering medical pathology content material that incorporates clinically relevant principles using currently available online technology, including educational modules, video, virtual reality, etc. to support the undergraduate medical curriculum.
• Employing multiple methods of pedagogy, including case-based instruction, large- and small-group discussion, lecture, demonstration, simulation, and team-based learning.
• Working collaboratively with faculty from other basic science/clinical science departments and campuses to implement curriculum, including course schedules, materials, and exams.
• Engaging in medical education scholarship.
• Serving on selected departmental, faculty, campus and college committees or taskforces as requested/assigned.
• Participating in other committees as required by the needs of the department.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
