Reporting to the Manager of Access Services, this position operates telephone switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls.Oversees all hospital alarms and responds efficiently when they signal or sound off. Handles emergency response matters for Security orDisaster situations. Responsible for assisting patients and visitors at the information counter. Discharge and transfer patients from computersystem.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Ability to type into computer system preferred.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Prior PBX experience preferred.
