Responsibilities

Seeking a Social Worker for the inpatient Psychiatry services in the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO – close to Cape Girardeau and Poplar Bluff.

We have a need for a Full-time Social Worker (40 hours per week with benefits) at this hospital.

The Social Worker is responsible for providing high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment, psychodiagnosis, treatment planning, group treatment, individual treatment, family treatment, and discharge planning as well as function as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the unit community relations program.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Requires a Master’s Degree in Psychology or Social Work. LCSW preferred; plus previous similar psychiatry experience. EOE

Horizon Health seeks a Social Worker for its behavioral health program at its client hospital, Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning and discharge planning, as well as group, individual and family treatment. Participates in referral development processes and activities as requested.
