River Crest Hospital (a UHS facility):

River Crest Hospital is a modern, 80-bed psychiatric hospital, specializing in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders that can afflict individuals of all ages, from children and teens, to adults and the elderly. We provide acute inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and addiction treatment programs. We are located in San Angelo, Texas. Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides timely, safe, and effective nursing care in the assigned area(s) in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Hospital and within the framework of established policies and procedures from the Department of Nursing Services. working as a Registered Nurse (RN) is providing excellent care, comfort, and security to the patients and families you treat, at their most vulnerable times. Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing. CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 30 days of employment.

Certifications may be obtained during new hire orientation.
