Inpatient General Psychiatrist - PRN/Weekend Coverage

Del Amo Behavioral Health System in Torrance, CA seeks a General Psychiatrist for a PRN Inpatient position. The physician duties will include new admissions and daily patient care of patients in the assigned caseload. The work environment is collegial and physicians have many support services to assist them in their care for patients.

Del Amo is a freestanding behavioral hospital with 166 staffed beds offering inpatient, outpatient, and specialty programs for those dealing with trauma. • Flexible schedule

• Independent Contractor/1099 arrangement

• Seeking weekend coverage for primarily adult inpatient units.

• Perform weekend admissions & follow ups. 
• Compensation: $100/hour average

Requirements

• Valid California Medical License or ability to obtain a California Medical License.

• Board Certified or eligible in Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry

• Completed approved and recognized GME program
