PHP Teacher Assistant/BHT

Major Duties and Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Director of Outpatient Services & PHP with support of the SBHS Director of Education, if needed, the PHP Teacher Assistant/BHT supports educational and behavioral programming that will enable PHP patients to fully engage in PHP academic hour.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: A high school diploma or GED is required. Knowledge of educational, child development and classroom teaching/management theories with a good understanding of educational and therapeutic interventions is preferred. It is required to possess a valid Illinois driver's license with no suspensions or tickets for major traffic violations for at least three years.
