UHS is Hiring a Nurse Supervisor (RN) - Behavioral Health Setting - Weekends (Days) Near HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO

Responsibilities

Up to $17,500 sign-on bonus with commitment

Highlands Behavioral Health System is an 86 bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Littleton, CO. Highlands features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. www.highlandsbhs.com.

The Nurse Supervisor (RN) is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and performance improvement efforts, while providing supervision to the nursing staff. The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for oversight supervision of the nursing staff, patients, and patient care during their shift. The Nurse Supervisor will work closely with the Intake and Admissions Department regarding patient admissions, discharges, and transfers during their shift. The Nurse Supervisor may also function as a unit/floor nurse in accordance with staffing protocol needs (as applicable).

Shift Hours: Friday - Sunday (7a - 7:30p) 

Shift Differentials: Up to $7.00/hour

Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse through the State of Colorado Board of Registered Nursing (or eligible to receive or renew).
