Join Brynn Marr Hospital's dynamic team as a Psychiatrist! We are actively seeking an energetic, compassionate, and self-motivated individual to contribute to our outstanding psychiatric care services in eastern North Carolina. This full-time Medical Director Physician position offers a Monday – Friday schedule, with responsibilities covering patient care in both inpatient and residential treatment programs.

Requirements:

- MD/DO degree from an accredited program- Board certified in Psychiatry (required)- Board certified in C/A Psychiatry (preferred)- Licensed to practice in the State of North Carolina or ability to obtain licensure- Minimum of five years of practice experience- Management experience preferred- Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians

- Strategic vision setting with measurable outcomes for Psychiatric Department development- Building a collaborative and supportive culture for the medical program- Strong management and proven leadership skills- Organization and facilitation of meetings and outcomes- Commitment to stewardship in both medical management and business reality- Strong business acumen related to psychiatric operations, finance, and decision-making

As a highly visible and active role, the Medical Director position includes:

- Supervision of other physicians, nurse practitioners and clinical staff- Program development- Participation in Medical Staff and Executive Team committees and meetings- Involvement in quality improvement initiatives, risk management, and service utilization management
